Most Crosstrek models are powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder Subaru BOXER® engine producing 180 hp and 178 lbs.-ft. of torque. It’s paired with a Lineartronic® Continuously Variable Transmission for enhanced efficiency and ultra-smooth shifting. Subaru's standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system provides outstanding traction in changing weather and road conditions, as well as on your more rugged explorations. Sport Hybrid and Limited Hybrid models upgrade to a 194-hp hybrid system that combines the 2.5L BOXER® engine with electric motors and a high-capacity lithium-ion battery.
