New 2018 Subaru Legacy unveiled

On February 2nd, Subaru unveiled the new 2018 Subaru Legacy at the Chicago Auto Show.

Slightly redefined exterior Look.

Its exterior design has been slightly modified to look sportier, thanks to a new set of sharper-looking headlights with C shaped “Konoji” LED daytime running lights and a new front bumper with wider and lower grille openings.

The 2018 Subaru Legacy also offers 2 news Exterior Colors, Magnetite Gray Metallic and Crimson Red Pearl.

The rear of the 2018 Legacy  remains the same in size but seems wider and more planted thanks to a new tailpipe design.

Redesigned interior with the addition of premium materials.

This new 2018 Subaru Legacy was redesigned with attention to detail in mind. A strip of sound insulating film on the front window and streamlined mirrors, makes for a quieter interior cabin. An easier to read clock, redesigned center console and a brand-new A/C system are also implemented. 
Additionally, you have the option to get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Starlink will now be compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. 
A sportier steering wheel replaces the previous one, to match the new exterior look of the vehicle.

Under the hood.


The new Legacy will come standard with a 2.5l boxer engine that produces 175 horsepower and 174 pound feet of torque. For a sportier, more responsive drive, you have the option to get the Legacy with a 3.6 liter 256 horsepower boxer engine. 
The CVT transmission and worldly famous symmetrical All Wheel Drive will remain the same.

Safety is always number one.


This year we get a new Steering Responsive Headlight (SRH) system but also a Reverse Automatic Braking system (RAB) that can detect objects in the vehicle’s path. As usual the award-winning Eyesight system is available on most trim. Models equipped with Eyesight will come with a blind spot detection system and rear cross traffic alert.
New in 2018, all Legacy are equipped with Incline Start Assist and electronic Hill Holder System.
